Joy Worldwide Inc. is committed to creating a pathway of self-discovery, cross-cultural connection, and impactful change for individuals and our community. We offer both short-term and long-term scholarship options — please apply for the program that aligns with your program duration. Read more about our three scholarship offerings below:
Semester-long programs
To qualify, applicants must be accepted into a study abroad program lasting three months or more. Finalists will be invited for an interview. Learn more about the program components below.
Scholarship + Language Platform + Visa/Passport Assistance
Cohort members receive a $500 scholarship and six months of access to a language learning platform, supporting both their financial needs and language development for a more enriching study abroad experience. Recipients also have access to visa and passport consultancy services to help navigate and streamline what can often be an overwhelming process.
Pre-Trip Workshop + Monthly Reflections + Photo Contest
Cohort members will participate in a pre-trip workshop to prepare for their time abroad, covering what to expect and tips from experienced speakers.
Throughout their journey, they'll receive monthly reflection questions and materials rooted in our program pillars to deepen their experience. Members can also enter our Study Abroad Photo Contest for a chance to win extra cash and amazing prizes!
JWW Network + Exclusive Events
Cohort members gain exclusive access to the JWW Network, a valuable resource for connecting with mentors, events, discovering career opportunities, and fostering community engagement.
Summer/Winter Programs
To qualify, applicants must be accepted into a study abroad program lasting less than three months. Selected finalists will be invited to participate in an interview as part of the selection process. Learn more about the program components below.

Reflection Questions + Photo Contest
Cohort members receive reflection questions and materials on our program pillars designed to help them process and deeply engage with their study abroad experience. They also have the opportunity to enter our Study Abroad Photo Contest and compete to win extra cash and amazing prizes while showcasing their unique international experience!
JWW Network + Exclusive Events
Cohort members gain exclusive access to the JWW Network, a valuable resource for connecting with mentors, exclusive events, discovering career opportunities, and fostering community engagement.
Joy Worldwide Inc. Passport and Visa Program
Our Passport and Visa Program will be for college students needing financial assistance with obtaining a passport or visa. To qualify, applicants must be accepted into a short-term or long-term study abroad program. The scholarship award will cover passport or visa application fees. Applicants must submit their receipts for reimbursement within one month of submitting their passport or visa application.

Healthy Lifestyles

Sustainability
Studying abroad allows you to learn about the sustainability practices of a host country by observing its environmental policies, waste management systems, renewable energy initiatives, and community engagement in eco-friendly practices, providing a firsthand look at how sustainability is integrated into daily life.

Financial Literacy
